Marco Di Chio nasce a Verona e vive a Cadidavid (VR), compie gli studi artistici presso l’istituto d’arte “N.
The painting has always been considered the graphic simulation of what we see in nature: trees, landscapes and people were basic models that every painter has always represented. This type of painting differs totally from this principle, does not reproduce real models, but, jets of color representing emotions tested by the author in his relationship with his own nature or with the world around him. The sign and the point are part of the picture since the fundamentals of geometry (the sign is a set of points, etc..), They form an abstract image in sudden emotional movement, and is in favor to be represented his emotions. The canvas placed on the ground rather than on the stand, it allows to operate from all four sides, eliminating any kind of hierarchy in painting (above and below, left and right), allowing the painter no longer act with the sole hand, but with all the limbs of the body. The works of Marco Di Chio are the result of repeated and almost obsessive steps made in and around the canvas, and in which each part smallest shares of the same intensity, as if even the smallest portion was the reduction in scale of total. At the root of this pictorial concept is certainly thorough study of modern philosophy Breton, and Ernst Freud, who believed in the production of arts inspired from the unconscious and unrepeatability of subjects.

WHEN THE MUSIC BECOME PAINTING
Emotions, colors in painting and music by Marco Di Chio
of Caterina Rappo
Marco Di Chio, despite his young age, has considerable cultural foundations developed at the state institute of art "N. Nani" in Verona, institution that has always been the "forge" of many artists of our city. He attended the course singing Baroque at the Conservatory "E.F. Dall'Abaco" of Verona and has experienced numerous concerts in churches cities (San Tomaso Cantuariense, Santa Maria in Institution and a concert in the church of Pozzo di San Giovanni Lupatoto) and in public facilities such as the Palazzo della Ragione and musical events held in Padua and Modena. Noteworthy are the artistic interests ranging from music to painting scenery and philosophy, in a nutshell we are faced with a "360 degree artist" who knows how to give her best in everything we produce. The exhibition held on 9 and February 10, 2008 at the Cultural Center of the municipality of San Giovanni Lupatoto represents for Marco Di Chio an important step from the point of view painting as had the opportunity to bring an audience accustomed to the traditional style painting in the world of the "astraction", convincing even the most sceptical about the need to understand and appreciate this art in all its forms even if unconventional. With patience and readiness was put at the service of showing visitors: the inner motivations that have inspired his works and the various relationships between colors and emotions that can interpret well together to funds, lights and shadows, the full meaning of the title of exhibition "Impressioni" and finally by stimulating the psyche of the observer to express their emotions and their impressions. The most important concept behind the painting of Marco Di Chio is the classical music that moves the colors and accompanies the artist in their execution, producing images that give the opportunity to enter into a fantasy world that meets the needs visual but especially mentally, the mind away from reality, from a company affected by technology and industry.
